Practical AI Tools for Students

COURSE OVERVIEW

This course is designed for non-technical students who want to use artificial intelligence tools in practical ways for studying, organizing information, researching topics, creating projects, and improving productivity. The course emphasizes hands-on use of real AI tools rather than technical theory. Students will learn how to apply AI tools directly to common academic tasks such as note-taking, studying, writing, researching, brainstorming, and creating presentations.

The primary goal of the course is to help students develop practical AI skills they can immediately apply in school and everyday life. Instead of focusing on how AI systems are built, the course focuses on how to use AI tools effectively and responsibly to improve learning and productivity.

By the end of the course, students will be able to:

The course is designed so that most class time focuses on demonstrations and hands-on exercises with real tools.

ASSUMPTIONS & SCOPE

Target audience level: beginners with no technical background.

Students are expected to be familiar with basic computer usage such as web browsing, word processing, and using online learning tools. No coding or technical background is required.

This course focuses on using AI tools in academic workflows. It intentionally does not cover technical topics such as machine learning algorithms, neural networks, or programming AI systems.

The course prioritizes practical usage of AI tools and includes demonstrations of commonly used tools for note-taking, research, studying, productivity, and creativity.
